This is not a termination request.

As stated in your membership agreement, you have the option to either upgrade or downgrade your automatically recurring monthly membership on hold for any reason.

Membership upgrades/downgrades must be submitted no less than 5 business days before your upcoming monthly payment (1st of the month). Membership upgrade/downgrade requests received later cannot be processed until the following month. All membership payments are non-refundable.

Our programs are built around you. As such, you have the option to upgrade/downgrade your membership on either a temporary or permanent basis. If you choose to temporarily modify your membership, you can choose between either 1, 2 or 3-month increments.

If you modify your membership, the remaining months on your original contract will rollover. For example, if you are on a 6-Month OPEX Blue membership and 3 months later want to temporarily downgrade to OPEX White for a 1-month vacation – when you return, you’ll only have 2 months left on your contract.

If you choose to cancel your membership during a temporary upgrade/downgrade period, the standard 30-day written cancellation notice requirement stated in your membership agreement is applicable. As well, you will be liable for the termination fee using the original membership option you began with.

Please note, you cannot downgrade from OPEX Gold. However, you can upgrade to OPEX Gold at any point during an OPEX White or Blue contract for no penalty. If you are upgrading to OPEX Gold, we will reach out directly to see what package is best for you.
